Fresh off the heels of a sold out home town show (Fresno) Cephas is taking his Rebel Sound Vinyl Experience on the road.
Although best known for his production and song writing (Blu, Fashawn, Tha God Fahim, Gas Lab, Social Club Misfits, Datin, Eshon Burgundy, Murs, Brainorchestra, Boostive Collective & countless others) as a DJ/selector Cephas has been digging for over 15 years and has amassed a collection north of 2,500 records.
The unique catalog ranges from jazz, funk, soul, hip hop, jungle, and dub featuring rare white labels, b-sides, test pressings, and remixes.
Cephas is known for using only analog equipment and for his open format sets that blend multiple genres and eras.
A collector of vintage synths Cephas often plays along with his mixes, adding new layers and turning his sets into immersive improvisational jams.
